The mission of Ed White E-STEM Magnet School, the nation’s foremost model in STEM education, is to ensure each student demonstrates creativity, accountability, integrity, and leadership as a visionary citizen through a unique system distinguished by integrated curriculum, positive reinforcement of self-direction, and innovative personalized learning.

Our school was chosen as the home of CCISD’s first Elementary-Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (E-STEM) Magnet program. Students in this program will participate in a highly enriched curriculum that focuses on STEM subjects and will be expected to think critically and solve real-world problems.

Lost & Found:
 We now have over 100 jackets in our Lost & Found!!! Please ask your student to check the rack outside the front office for any missing clothing.

Lunch Accounts: Is your student's lunch account balance going down way too fast?? Only a parent can restrict their child's purchases in the cafeteria. Our cafe' staff can not turn down a student's purchasing of multiple snacks. Sign in to or set up your School Cafe' account to monitor your child's lunch purchases, get low balance alerts and more.

Join Now: Ed White PTA wants YOU ... as a member! Join your school PTA today. Grab a membership form in the hallway or front office, and guess what!? ... The class with the most memberships by the end of the month will get a Bahama Bucks party!!!

Gifted & Talented: Kindergarten Gifted and Talented Testing is complete. Letters and scores will be mailed by February 24th. The Kinder GT Class for those that qualified will begin the week of March 2nd. Volunteer Training Workshop: Galveston Bay Foundation is holding an Education Volunteer Training Workshop on February 29th, 9:00am-12:00pm, at Trinity Bay Discovery Center, Beach City, TX; to train volunteers on safety, procedures and educational activities for their field events this spring. STEM Lottery for Kindergarten 2020-2021: The Ed White E-STEM and Walter Hall Elementary E-STEM Magnet programs are accepting lottery applications for Kindergarten students for the Fall of 2020.

Parent information meetings will be at 6:00 PM on the following dates:

The lottery application deadline is May 15, 2020. Those who complete the application by the deadline will be entered into the lottery that takes place on May 22, 2020, to determine which students are selected for each magnet school. Transportation will not be provided for students outside the school's attendance zone.

Seabrook Lucky Trails Fun Run: Ed White Physical Education Department is partnering with Running Alliance Sport to participate in local Fun Runs. We want to encourage a love of physical fitness and Fun Runs are a great way to involve the whole family, regardless of age or fitness level. Ed White families can participate in the Running Alliance Sport Seabrook Lucky Trails Fun Run. Sign up at www.runningalliancesport.com. Coach Clough will participate in the 5K and Coach Fortenberry will run the 1K on Friday. Other races are available on Saturday and Sunday, but our coaches will only be at the Friday Fun Runs. Counselor's Corner: Now though February 28th your child will be learning all about Caring, what it means, why it's important and how to show it. Learning happens best when it's done both at school and at home. Click link to see many ways that you can help your child continue to learn about Caring. She will discuss topics such as friendship, anti-bullying, decision making, drug awareness, good character development, communication skills, coping skills, and anti-victimization with students.
